update, upcoming events, Salute to fallen peoples warrior Gerinomo Pratt

Hey everyone just a quick update. Again my amazing supporters packed the court and I again I am so super appreciative, I know people are busy and have so much going on so I am honored for all that could make it out. This court date was supposed to be for arguing motions that my defense motioned for dismissal of the remaining charges. The Prosecution got the motions on tuesday two days before court, so they said they did not have enough time and court was pushed back to july 1 in the morning at 50 Court St., 3rd Floor part 6. Also we formally rejected the plea deal again. Next date we will be arguing the motions for dismissal for the remaining charges.

They are dragging it out for a many reasons, but my stance will remain the same till the end no matter how long they take I am not a criminal or a problem nor did I do anything wrong, the real problem is the war, the courts, the out of control police, this system of exploitation.
Speedy and Fair trial? Right to Free speech and assembly? I will take one long run on sentence and say the US is over seas brutally murdering, bombing entire countries for the sake of spreading what hollow words lay flat on a over 250 year old document that completely outrageous to begin with the majority of population not being able to vote, Africans enslaved and natives land being stolen and genocide being committed on the remaining and now the government is a mockery of freedom and equality, it is a disgrace and uttetly ridiculous to say that the US has any morals or care for freedom, let alone the audacity to call it self the leader of the free world, when it to date has the largest prison population known to the history of human race, and waging war all across the world for greed when it does not even house, educate, provide health care, feed its own citizens. In know it is something “we” might take for granted but most Americans I guess don't, if you love freedom you don't murder millions of innocent people across the world for generations, that has nothing to do with freedom or democracy actually just the opposite. Any way it is important to fight these fights. We need to show we will not whimper out of existence based on brutality and unjust laws. You can just use force to squash 1st amendment rights. If not the force and irrational behavior of small minded men will exploit the world more than it already does, our actions do matter, whether you choose apathy or action, every action counts. We are not alone and again this kind of power police, government, military have is to much for anyone and needs to completely changed from the roots and we will.

“Libyans don't need NATO helicopter gunships, smart bombs, cruise missiles, and depleted uranium to settle their differences. NATO's "humanitarian intervention" needs to be exposed for what it is with the bright, shining light of the truth. Stop bombing Africa and the poor of the world!”

Our comrade and friend, Geronimo Ji Jaga, while in Tanzania joined the ancestors! Geronimo Pratt, the former head of the of the Black Panthers’ Southland chapter, died Thursday. He was 63. Most people who knew Pratt’s name recall that he was the target of an FBI program during the early 1970s that landed him in prison for more than a quarter-century for a crime he did not commit. Geronimo former Panther did two tours of duty in Vietnam before joining the party. He was convicted of the 1968 murder of Caroline Olsen, who was killed on a tennis court in Santa Monica. His conviction was overturned in 1997 after prosecutors were found to have concealed evidence. Typical racist frame up of great leader for the people.

The Ankara Youth Association set up a tent in Sakarya Street at 9 AM on Saturday May 21, with the demand for free education as well as the release
of Ferhat and Berna.
After the tent had been up for 10 minutes, the police launched another attack and arrested three students.
The students of the Ankara Youth Federation had decided to put up a hunger strike tent for three days to demand the release of Youth Federation members
Ferhat Tuzer and Berna Yilmaz. They have been in jail for 15 months, ever since opening a banner in the presence of Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan with
the writing "We demand free education and we will achieve it".
After they read out a press statement on Friday May 20 at 1 pm and then set up the tent, the police attacked and detained five people.
Then five members of the Youth Federation against set up a tent at about 1345 in Sakarya Square, and they too were arrested. Then a third tent was put up in
protest at the attacks, and with the participation of mass organisations. This tent too was attacked by the police and a further eight people arrested.

The students of the Youth Federation then started a sit-down protest in Sakarya Street to demand the release of their friends. While 14 people were
released that evening at about 9 pm, four, all younger than 18, remain in police custody.
The names of those arrested on May 21: Gulcin Cengizoglu, Mehmet Adiguzel, Ailcan Gozlekçi.
On the evening of the 21st, Dev-Genc supporters were released after appearing before a prosecutor. They had been tortured in custody.

A press statement protesting the arrests will be read out in Sakarya Square at 1100 by the Youth Federation on the 22nd.

On May 22, the lawyer Engin Gokoglu read out a statement calling the police attacks illegal. Following the statement, a tent was put up, and the
police attacked again, with five supporters of Dev-Genc (Revolutionary Youth) being detained. The police also attempted to beat Gokoglu and attacked
people gathering around the square.

The five detained were: Mehmet Adiguzel, Sevil Kalem, Bahadir Altinok, Halil Ibrahim Mujdeci and Hakan Yilmazoz.

People, who gathered arround the squared showed reaction to the police arrests.
